Hamachi + School/College

Hi everybody, so my friend at school finally got a desktop computer at his house and decided to set up a minecraft server myself, him and other friends can play on. However when he leaves it up when we have to go to school/college, when we get around to free time in class i got onto my own laptop, started up hamachi, logged into his network before hand. But it gets stuck at resolving host and it wont connect to "hamachi servers". Can someone please help, we all want to play on it at school and help each other. We cant decided if its the internet at school/college but we need to know...

Sounds like it could be your internet at school, but im no networking expert.

 The Wannabe is no longer. Replaced by the Flotilla. If you replace every part of a computer is it still the same computer?

Probably the school network. I've taken my computers to multiple houses with hamachi and never encountered this problem.
