I wonna actually braid my own sleeves instead of buying through vendors like icemods etc.

problem is the brand that I see refereed to a lot is Lustro0 and I cannot seem to find products that wont cost me a kidney to send to the EU. is there any EU site that carries them any good places I should start looking? (looking for 2-3 things that I can get in quantity as this is intended for practice as well:p-> the pins the plastic shielding + fabric for sleeving)

Also what wires can I use while making these mods? my dad works as an electrician and I am wondering if he has any that I can use lying about. <- this is my main priority atm:p

You can get shrink tubing and braided sleeves by the meter in car modding stores. They have wires too but not the pins. You can disassemble the cables you have. There are two or three hooks holding the metal pins in the plastic connector collars that you need to push temporarily down to pull out the wire. Sometimes plugging the cable in will push them deep enough, for the rest a tiny tube will do the trick. Don't use too much force or tools like knives to push them because they need to pop back up too. I've used stuff like ball point pen pieces and such.

If you want to buy specifically, Aquatuning.com has a whacktonne of modding stuff available. Pretty much everything from connectors to pins to wires to sleeves to shrink tubing. For the wires, just to play it safe, get bigger than the gauge you have. ATX standard determines the parameters pretty steeply but I'd imagine you want what you can get fast and cheap, instead of a specific mixture of metals and so on.

For sleeving material Icemodz is pretty good in price for it's quality if shipping isn't crazy to the EU, but in terms of wires itself the standard is 18AWG wire.

18AWG wire exactly what I was looking for :) mundi from icemods is the one that did my current sleeves, but mundi is extremely expensive. I think he uses paracord for the actual sleeving

Thnx though :)
