Thermal Paste?

I am building my rig but my thermal paste hasn't arrived. Would it be ok to run my CPU with no thermal paste for like 3-4 hours, or will it destroy it.

lol your PC won't even last for more than 20 seconds. Use your stock cooler. Your cooler comes with thermal paste.

if you dont have thermal paste then the cpu wont get any cooling at all

 

did you check the cpu box? it should have included thermal paste (in most cases) along with the stock cooler

if you have any cooler at all it should have thermal paste included

Thermal paste is definitely required - if you have a stock cooler, use that for the time being. There's paste pre-applied. Will it destroy the CPU if you use it without paste? Probably not as long as you don't stress it too hard.
