dont go with either

 get an xfx/ seasonic. evga PSU, they are usually very good quality

My friend wants to buy a PSU for his new build but is not sure if he should get a cooler Master 750 watt or a corsair cx600 or even higher watt if the corsair range

Is that Cooler Master a V-series? If so then buy it. Worlds ahead of the rather shitty CX series. Check out the PSU whitelist in my sig for good PSUs.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
