G'day Guys,

I'm in the process of putting a computer together for my little brother as a birthday gift out of some of my old parts and I'm having a issue updating it.

I have just put windows 7 on it but cant get the net to work on it. So I had a feeling it might be that might not have the drivers so I jumped on the Asus website to grab the driver from my computer and put it on my portable hard drive (A tad overkill but it was all I had laying around) but as I went to install it but I gave me the error that I needed the latest bios to use it. So back I went and got the update for that.

So how do I install it? Its in a ROM file format and its for the  Asus P6X58D Premium

Any ideas?

I'm afraid to swear now because the overlords might hurt me.

to update a asus bios u can use their bios updator tool in the bios and have the rom file on a empty formatted usb stick

if the board doesnt have a bios updating tool in the bios ( wich i highly doubt ) u can use asus's bios update software
