I'd say 5 single. It's what I use for uni and if a class didn't have me take heavy notes I can reuse it. Also if it's a class that won't require notes I can remove it from the equation and only use 2-4.

Knowledge is power, guard it well.

Get 5. I made the mistake in always getting the Five subject notesbooks, especially when I had to give it the teacher overnight.
