Realtek Audio not installing properly

I've installed the one from the download page and the mobo download page

neither of them actually work after setup

but when i plug in any audio device windows nor realtek picks anything up

 

every time i restart my pc to "apply changes" the program actually never appears (when using setup from msi gaming 5 mobo drivers)

simple question...did you download and install the right OS compatible driver? I just have to ask.

try using the windows 8.1...worst thing to happen is it saying it's not compatible.
