Hello guys, I've been hearing all this fuzz about direct x 12? And they say its available in windows 10 only, and certain gpu. My rig is currently running windows 10, gtx 960, and amd fx6300, my question is HOW do I enable that feature? Cause i am really confused on how can i use that feature..... Thanks

games have to be made to support it. it cant be enabled. games have to be built around it 

and no, there is no games at the moment that suppport DX12

Your 960 supports DX12 so your fine, no need to enable anything. Games have to support DX12 to take advantage, and currently only like 1 game does. If you want to check if your running DX12, you can type dxdiag in run and look at Direct X version.

DX12 is an API. It can't be utilized unless the application and drivers support it.

DirectX12 is only available in Windows 10 and yes, your GPU does suppourt it. It's not a feature that you enable, the game that you are playing has to be made for DX12. There currently is only one game that i know of that suppourts DX12 and hasn't been released yet.

 

However, it is something to be excited about, the performance increases are great.
