Curious if anyone else has the issue with Windows 10 where when you open a folder by right clicking on it and selecting open (when in File Explorer), multiple copies open? or if you use the File Explorer double clicking opens a new window, even when the option to open in the same window is selected?

I created a Microsoft Community post with pictures if you're interested to see it... http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-files/opening-folders-strange-behavior/d309c0e0-01f6-4159-b7d2-700d5ba3c7b8

I think you have the option to do this enabled.

1- Close all folders.

2- Go to Folder Option panel. Under the "General" tab, you have the option "Open each folder in the same window", make sure it is selected.

If it is already, select the other option, hit Apply, and select back the other option, and click on Apply, OK.

Now it should work fine.

I have the option for open each folder in the same window selected. I've reset it. And also tried in safe mode. Same results.

It's an odd one.
