How Do I Overclock A CPU?

Go to solution Solved by 007agentHP,

Wha About Just Bumping It Up From 2.00GHz To 2.10Ghz Could That Be Done?

your motherboard has to support it so check the bios for any overclocking features such as raising BLCK or multiplier. but once again, even a 100 Mhz bump could create a lot of heat depending on the voltage necessary to get it stable

Hi, I am such a noob, how do i overclock a CPU? I have a Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 (Its Crappy, I Know). I use a laptop. Thanks!

do not overclock a laptop, they usually don't have the cooling to support the extra heat.
