Well got another offer on my iMac for $800…I have it listed on CL for $1050 but I would be happy with $900 and I replied to the man that $900 is the best I can do and all he said in reply was "Ok thanks". What do you guys think I should do? Should I say I'll take $850 if he's still interested? Should I just say, I'll take $800? Or should I just not say anything? I have classes starting up in a few weeks and I kind of wanted to have this new rig set up before then...

My rig I plan on making: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1n1KO

Thanks all, I just like to hear more opinions than the one or two I get :)

I do cash only, no checks or Paypal. I'm gonna make him come drive to me. Only thing is, what if he says no to $850? :3

If your not getting anymore offers I would take it,but some people want stuff as cheap as possible.

Oh man red flag man, DO NOT GET A WD BLUE.

The failure rates on those things are Legendary, i have 3 failed drives in my house right now.

Go green or black if your going WD its worth it trust me, way more reliable even if you have an ssd as your main drive

your backup drive or game drive is important to be reliable.

Lol, he might not want it if you already said $900 is lowest you'd go.

I personally have never used WD, I only used a Seagate in my build from like 5-6 years ago and that seemed to do well so maybe I'll stick with that, thanks!

Well it's a valid point about my build I posted so maybe I should listen :P

I'm really torn. This is like the least I ever wanted to sell it for but if I do wait I might get someone else to buy it who would pay more for it.

Do you have other cash for your system already? Or is the imac sale the big chunk of it?

Sell for $800, build your system.... imac who?

You could wait and see if you get a better offer, but everyday you wait it just gets older and older.

CL can be sketchy, if this guy is good for the money I'd go $800, just wondering on your upcoming build, do you plan on using a case?
