To be honest, I think you'd be better off getting a Cooler Master 212+/EVO and getting some IC Diamond thermal compound and some Noctua fans if you want something silent and good temperatures, but I don't know how much it compares to the Xigmatek.

I also think that you should do it the way above if you want a silent cpu cooler.

I own that cooler. It has trouble with more than 1.3V on sandy bridge, running a single NF-F12.

If you aren't going to be pushing your cpu very hard, then the cooler master hyper 212 or hyper 212 evo should be fine. They are like $30 and $35. If you need something with a little more cooling potential, then:

I would personally use the zalman one because i know they make very high quality heatsinks, but i understand that you may be on a budget. Also you can't go wrong with noctua fans. Their heatsinks and fans are pretty much God-tier in air cooling (even if their color choice is sub-par) also they can be expensive...

Also don't use the included thermal compound. More often than not, its not so great. Use something like IC diamond, Arctic Silver, Arctic Cooling mx4) thermal paste is cheap and one tube will last a very long time.

What noctua fans are good?
