Can't talk about torrenting soooo,

WMM :P?

There used to be a thread about free alternative programs.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

I have used Lightworks, it is really capable, but has a really steep learning curve. Not as good as PP but its free.

So thanks for reading guys, if this post sucked, I'm not sure what you can do, but if you liked it, go 'head and hit that like button, or maybe add me as a friend. Otherwise, go subscribe to LinusTechTips on YouTube, follow them on Twitch, follow @LinusTech on Twitter, and support them by using their affiliate code on Amazon, buying a cool T-shirt, or supporting them directly on this community forum.

I use Windows Movie Maker. Sounds dumb but it's not absolutely terrible as many think. Great to work with as it's easy to understand.

Not used it as of yet, but the beta for Davinici Resolve 12 is out, and it apparently supports a lot of video editing features, may be worth a look.

Don't exactly think that is free...

Very true, that is pretty annoying, and files are unusually large (I think...) But if you can live with 720p, then its a good option.

Just from here, I found some new ones that I hadn't heard about. Might be worth a go ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

No, the lite edition (which has most features) is. You need to provide some annoying information (I.e. phone number), but you can just fake it.

I stand corrected, and it seems to get significant praise!

That looks really good (from what I saw)! Seems Lightworks might be history for me! Gonna have to look into it some more!

And look into DaVinci Resolve 12 Lite too...
