I know this topic has probably been posted to death, but I wanted to offer my own perspective on it. I am building a new PC, and I want a 970. I was going to buy a used msi but the dude used it for mining, so I didn't buy it. Now I am trying to find the best one for the money. I'm thinking of getting the zotac card. Not the amp cards, just the normal one. And it's only $395. I understand that the MSI is generally considered the best card, but it's $450. And the gigabyte g1,which is really damn long, but a good card, and $425.what should I go with? I'm not looking to get the most performance possible, and I probably won't overclock, I just want the best 970 for the money. Thanks!

Which store are you intending to buy the 970 from? What is your current area?
