Model Number Issues with rooting?

I've tried everything, auto root, manual root, etc. None seem to work at all, but recently I heard that this could be an issue with my Model Number, If it is I would like to know how to fix this.

 

Phone: Samsung Galaxy S4

Version: 4.4.2

Model Number: SPH-L720

its not a issue with "model number", each provider makes their own HW changes to thats why it could be incompatible

reset the phone to factory defaults

then try rooting it
