hi. i have win 8.1 64bit, its been a week or so that i have been facing this issue. my audio for no reason, just ends. there comes no audio at all. im using Fiio E18 external DAC/AMP for my audio i have connected it to pc via usb. it never happened before its been only a week this started to happen. after this, when i open the volume adjuster from bottom, it just force closes, i have to the restart pc to fix it. i just upgraded my audio drivers as well but still there is this device uninstalled in the device manager.

i have looked on internet and they say its fix is possible with sys file. but i dont trust these random sites.

can someone here help me what to do? i have Asus Maximus VI Hero board and i7 4770K OC if that helps.

thanks

thats the problem man, the issue just started out of no where. it was just fine before on the same audio drivers. and i even dont use onboard audio anyway.

the only new application i installed was TeamSpeak, which infact i just upgraded to latest version and thats it.  really dont understand why is it so.

my pc works fine, but after like 4 or so hours, audio just goes away, although im using external AMP/DAC that is powered by USB.

can anyone help me with this issue? i will be grateful!

Uninstall TeakSpeak and see if it happens? I know that it plays around with your sound.
