Metals

Go to solution Solved by W-L,

I was planning on using the EK Fluid? So would it work?

The best would be to avoid having mixed metals in a loop, what watercooling components are you planning on installing?

If your using EKWB's EVO or Pastel line they are mix metal compatible.

EDIT:

Just saw the list up top and from the looks of things you will have no problems at all.  :)

Thoughts on mixing metals in water-loop.

Here are my planned water-cooling parts:

Thoughts on mixing metals in water-loop.

It's not recommended since it can cause galvanic corrosion but if the proper anti-corrosive or compatible fluids for mixed metals loops are used it's fairly safe, it's done on most AIO coolers which have aluminum rads and cooper blocks to save on overall costs so it's not uncommon.

As long as you aren't doing aluminum + copper, you should be fine. Nickel and copper/brass play well with each other. Your parts look fine.

I had a very helpful forum member help me compile the list. I still need help choosing the tubing(hard) and fitting. Could you help me choose those parts?

Thanks.
