I am looking for a desk -- it can be an L table or just a straight table, but I want it to be fairly large: needs to accommodate three monitors, speakers, keyboard, mouse, etc. The cheaper the better, also. Don't want to pay a ton of money for it. Doesn't need to be adjustable or any of that, just something simple that looks great and does the job.

Wow, thank you. That's exactly what I was looking for!

Know this... 59" is not enough to contain three monitors. However, it is large enough to accommodate three monitor stands. So the stands will fit, but the screens will hang over the sides. There is very little room left for speakers or desk lamps.

He could easily solve this problem by getting something like this to put next to the other desk

This won't work. It's nominal dimensions are 40x24", while your original recommendation was 60x30".

This is a good idea, but not a user friendly solution. A nominal depth of 24" is acceptable for one monitor, maybe two... This desk is not deep enough for three monitors without moving your head way too far from side to side.

The solution is simple. Get the originally recommended 60x30" and just be aware the monitors might not all fit in the footprint of the tabletop (depending on the size of your monitors). However, a 60x30" should be enough to accommodate three monitor stands without hesitation.
