Buget? And when do you wich the system to be built?

My budget is such that this fits exactly into it. Though I'm not sure what you mean with the second sentence.

if I had to choose one thing that could be improved it would be the psu, it is a tiny bit overkill if you are not planning to do sli or ocing or something like that :)

Well if you can wait till october the new AMD 9000 Series GPU's will come out and they'll perform better than the 7000 series . Also the Motherboard is Overkill get something less. And try to swap the fans out from the h100i they arent really good and they are really loud. Choose a fan from this list:

  • Noctua NF-F12
  • Scythe Gentle Typhoon
  • Be Quiet Silent Wings 2
  • Any New Generation Noiseblocker fan
  • Cougar Hydro bearing fans.

Also the powersupply is way too much get something like a corsair TX650M or get a Cooler Master V700 ( 80+ Gold and fullt modular for a very good price.

Oh yeah I want to do crossfire in the future that's why I chose a bit higher wattage.

No October is too long for me. I can barely wait till September for the Formula and the Phantom 530. Speaking of the Formula yeah it might be a bit overkill but come on that thing is gorgeous. I will consider switching out the fans later on, can't really afford it right now. As for the PSU I want to go crossfire in the future plus I'm overclocking and I want a modular PSU.

13000 SEK give or take. :) And don't try and convert it to USD cause pc parts are soo much cheaper in America :(

I know the feeling bro :( Living in the EU they just swap out the $ Sign With € .This is so unfair since 1 Euro is about 1.30 dollar.

But well your build seems fine only complain from em is that the mobo is overkill sice the GFX cars is only a 7950... But oh well if you really want the mobo what can i say its not my money :P

Yeah exactly. I never got why they do that. However somehow the Brits always seem to get lower prices and I have no idea why.

Oh yeah I want to do crossfire in the future that's why I chose a bit higher wattage.

A 750w bronze would be enough for crossfire. The ax860 is overkill even for sli titans with a custom cooling loop. Bump down the psu.

Why the evo? The normal 840 is much cheaper and the performance difference is negligible. Look at the random read speeds.

No need for a caviar black when you already have an ssd. Get a blue or barracuda instead.

The vengeance pros are only good if you're overclocking the ram. Other than that, brand does not affect performance of ram. Get the cheapest CL9 1600 ram you can find instead.

Get a cheaper motherboard. Something like the Extreme 3 or 4, G45 gaming, or D3H would do the same job and is much cheaper.

By getting cheaper parts, you don't lose any performance and I'm guessing you could bump up to a 7970 with the extra money. If you do, get a 850w bronze for more overclocking and crossfire headroom. Do NOT however, get an ax860. Like I said, it's overkill. If you don't want bronze, stick with a 750w gold or something since it would be plenty.

Well I found the AX860 for the same price as the AX760 which I was considering first so I figured why the hell not.

As for the MB and RAM, yeah I know I could go with cheaper one like the VI Hero, but then it just wouldn't look as good. I do want my pc to look good as well.

The SSD... Idk it really isn't that much more expensive and it's a little bit better so... I don't really know, I guess I don't need it but its new so I'll probably gonna buy it just so that I have the newest.

I'm not talking about the ax760. That's overkill for anything that's not at least a 780 sli with a custom watercooling loop. A 750w bronze will be enough.

Look at the G45 gaming. It's not too different from the Maximus Hero and looks just as good imo.

You will not notice the difference between the ssds in a blind test. Once you're using any of the higher tiered ssds, they're all within margin of error in terms of speed for everyday usage. No need to spend more money on negligible performance.

It looks fine psu might be overkill but are you cf in future?

Only real criticism is wait for 9 series.

Ok I looked it up and on amazon the 860 costs a pound more than the 750 so yeah I'm going with the 860.

Hmm the SSD yeah I guess you have a point, I might reconsider, there's still time before I start building so I'll decide when it comes time for that.

The thing is that it's only rumoured for October so it might be later and it will be even more time till it's released in Sweden so I can't wait that long.

7970 is better value then a 780, you could basically get 2 7970s for the price of a 780.

Yeah I'll definitely get a second card in the future, however the 7970 is more expensive than the 7950 and I don't have that money right now plus I read that the 7950 isn't that bad especially when over-clocked so that's why I went with that.
