Hi guys, I recently bought a Nighthawk AC1900 Smart WiFi Router and have to idea what to do. My goal is to have it running with my router that I received from Verizon. I want to still be able to accsess the TV guide and am under the impression that I need that still plugged in to get that to work. Any tips on where to go from here?

Nighthawk :)

you plug the nighthawk into the Verizon one.  and connect everything to the nighthawk.

u may have to tweak a few setting inorder to work.

Probably better off to throw the verizon in bridge mode

Thanks, is there anything I have to do to take advantage of the 5Ghz network?

5ghz is fast but not as far range, just enable the 5ghz in settings

you probbly will have 2 network names

name the 5ghz XXX 5ghz and connect supported devices to that.

or name them the same and it should autochoose.
