Black screen after clearing cmos

My pc wouldn't allow me to enter my bios so my pc manufacturers told me to clear/reset the cmos by using a screwdriver to touch the 2 cmos pins together. I then turned my computer on and now I just get a black screen, no motherboard flash up or anything just a black screen for as long as you leave it running. Anyone know what's up or what's broken/need's to be fixed? Any help would be amazing (my motherboard is a gigabyte F2A88XM-DS2)
