Quick fire Rapid-i problems?

I ordered the quickfire rapid-I the other day on Amazon, it should arrive tomorrow but after some research it sounds like the rapid-i has widespread faulty led problems. My question is wether I should just return it when it arrives and get another keyboard like the max nighthawk x8 instead.

Does anyone have the quick fire rapid-I have any advise on wether it's even worth opening? Is the Max better?

The newer versions of the Rapid-i fixed this I believe. You might get an older version in the mail but if it's from Amazon you're probably safe.

I have the Rapid-i and 99% of the time it works flawlessly. the 1% of the time is when it doesn't is when I have to remove the wire in the back and push it back in but I very rarely have to do that (My keyboard sometimes decides to randomly turn off / freeze and the only fix is removing the power source). 

 

 

Its a good keyboard, I love mine!
