That's a weird way of putting it, so let me explain. If i downgrade from Windows 10 to windows 8.1, can i keep the free upgrade to Windows 10? or will i have to pay money for a new license? This is an issue because of a graphics card swapping fiasco with my brother that i'll explain upon request.

I don't know, but something tells me Microsoft weren't bothered coding that level of thought into checking whether people are using more than one upgrade. Basically, I would be very surprised if you couldn't upgrade to 10 again after already downgrading back to 8.

Maybe you might not be able to upgrade using the win 10 icon in the task-bar, but I assume you'd still be able to use the media creation tool and force an update that way. Again I'd be very surprised if they put a mechanism in to check if you have already upgraded.

Okay, cool.

My brother let me use his 750 Ti over my GTX 560. The 750 Ti works with Windows 10, the GTX 560 (near as we tell) doesn't. We got in an argument that i'm losing because mom says so :P

If you still have Windows 10 installed, there are some tools online that you can use to get your windows 10 product key (I forget what the tool is called)

Once you have the product key you should be able to activate Win 10 anytime, as long as you're using the same motherboard
