Ram issues

Go to solution Solved by SkixAces,

So today I opened Hardware Monitor and saw that my available ram was only 11.7gb. I have two corsair vengeance 8gb each running on crosshair v formula-z with an FX8350 overclocked at 4.4mhz. The ram normally sat at 15gb available but now its at 11? I have them in the 1st and 3rd slots so I don't think that's the issue. I was wondering how to go about fixing it. Or for some reason is it no allowing me to use all my ram for some reason? Not sure what other information would be useful so I included some pictures. Just joined the forum so thanks for any help!  attachicon.gifother.pngattachicon.gifram.png

You read that wrong. It says available memory 11.5GB and used memory 4.4GB.

11.5 + 4.4 = 15,9GB

Nothing wrong with that!

Welcome to the forum! Have you tried moving it to a different slot or rebooting your computer?

I did try that once before I learned I just cant read. I learned one of my slots just wont work though. Only reads 8gigs when I ram in that slot. Every other slots works though.
