Hello

So in short my laptop's (Asus R500VM) drive was corrupt so I resolved errors and formatted the drive. I have managed to boot the windows 7 install disc (original not fake) but now when it shows the blue skyish backround, just after windows is starting, and starts the install my laptop decides to restart ending in a endless loop. If anyone know a way for me to get windows running please let me know.

NOTE: Format and error checking were done on my main pc.

I know some things about the computer but I had problems with troubleshooting. I haven't understand the concept of it yet but I remember having the same problem 3 years ago with my IBM which is not working until now. I never solved the problem yet bought a new one and use vpn to be more safe and avoid viruses and malwares to attack my device.

Have you taken the install disk out? My PC did the same thing, just kept rebooting and trying to install windows until I took the disk out. It's worth a try!

Have you made sure the HDD is not failing by running a diagnostic software like Seagate Seatools or WD Data Lifeguard?
