Sli display connectios

Can I use the display outputs only from 1 card or from both. For example I use the Hdmi and dvi from card 1 and the dvi from card 2 ?

When not running Surround you can only use the outputs from the primary GPU, when running Surround you can use a mix of outputs on both cards depending on what connectors are required and what your cards support.
