Odd glitch in Sony Vegas

BoomLiam

I'm experiencing this strange glitch in Sony Vegas Pro 12 where when I add an effect to a clip (in this case I have a simple fade in) the preview window shows a bunch of little squares instead of the fade: http://gyazo.com/0c4e6aacf9dcfe27a15a9f69418945f3

I just did a fresh install of Vegas and have updated to Build 670 (most recent) so does anyone know what might be causing this issue and what I can do?

Computer Specs (The Space Fridge):

CPU: Intel i5 3570k | Motherboard: MSI Z77A G45 | RAM: Kingston Hyper X Blu | SSD: OCZ Agility 3 (60GB) |

HDD: Seagate Barracuda (500GB) | GPU: MSI HD 7950 Fwin Frozr iii | PSU: Corsair CX600 | Case: NZXT Phantom 410 w/ NZXT Blue LED strip

The clip is 1920x1080x12 @ 29.999 FPS and Pixel Aspect Ratio of 1.0000

The preview is 1920x1080x32 @ 29.999 FPS and Pixel Aspect Ratio of 1.0000

Only difference is the x12 and x32 in the resolution, but I don't know how to change that or if is affects anything

That shouldn't cause any problems, it glitches out like that sometimes when people have the wrong FPS. Does it do that with all effects? Or only that one?

It happens with all effects, I also tried to render out a section of the video and no matter what I do, even if I leave the clip blank with no added effects, this happens in the rendered file: http://gyazo.com/dbd326883702032c4af347a818c8d801

That's quite strange, there could be an infinite amount of things causing this. Have you tried using a different clip? Maybe in a different format?

This only happens when you add effects to a clip? If you just put a clip in and make a few cuts or something and render it out in a different format, it comes out fine?

No, the last render, I just dragged it into the timeline, rendered it out and saw the same problem as this: http://gyazo.com/dbd326883702032c4af347a818c8d801

I also just rendered a .jpg image and same thing happened: http://gyazo.com/9cdc86e5c6298a3997df93178c8e749b

This is so strange never had it happen before and can't find anything online about it either... :\

Can I download previous builds from the Sony Creative Software website? I can only see Build 670?

Oh alright, well I'll do some fiddling in this Sony Vegas first and then search around for a previous build. Thanks :)
