System shuts down abruptly at random (again)

I was playing a light game (NFS: ProStreet) and noticed some (quite heavy) stuttering while playing. I decided to check if any background processes were causing this but I saw nothing too odd. I continued playing for about an hour, and in the middle of a race, my PC shutdown abruptly.

At the moment I thought this had to do with the processor. I booted up the machine, ran RealTemp to check the temperatures and decided to run IntelBurnTest. I left it at the default settings and during pass 4 out of 10, the PC shutdown again. I was monitoring the temperature closely at this time, and it reached 58-64 degrees celsius max. I checked, and the max temperature for my CPU is 71, so there shouldn't have been a big problem.

The thing is, this happens pretty much at random. The ambient temperature is about 22-23 degrees celsius, and I've had this happen 4 times in the last two weeks.

Specs:

Intel Core2 Quad Q8300 with OEM cooling from Acer/Foxconn

Acer MCP73T-AD

4GB DDR2-800 (2x2GB)

Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 750GB hard drive

EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB SC

Corsair Carbide SPEC-03

Cooler Master V450 Semi-Modular power supply (RS-450-AMAA-G1-EU)

Extra notes:

I don't have any overclocks on. I only have the exhaust fan connected (will this matter much in cooling?). The power supply fan is at the bottom, taking in air. I have cleaned the CPU heatsink and reapplied thermal paste last week.

Laptop: Intel Core i5-4200H, 8GB RAM, 750GB HDD, GeForce 840M

Desktop: Intel Core i3-6100, 8GB RAM, 750GB HDD, GeForce GTX 750 Ti
