Here's what I'd do. I didn't factor in rebates, and the motherboard was released after Haswell Refresh so original bios works fine for the i5-4460.

Memory: Crucial Ballistix 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory  ($39.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Sandisk X110 128GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($51.94 @ Amazon)
Video Card: XFX Radeon R9 280 3GB Black Edition Double Dissipation Video Card  ($174.99 @ Newegg)

H81 is great for ITX since it's drawbacks mean zilch. Every motherboard in ITX form factor has the same drawbacks (2 DIMMs, 1 GPU, limited SATA slots, etc). Since this is just for LAN tournamnets, storage doesn't have to be large either. Enough for what you're playing, so just a single SSD with no HDD works.

I think the case will be pretty nice for this build imo... only one thing, i would pick up some handles and attach them to the top- because the key to this build is portability and handles make it so much easier

Don't forget to follow your topics.

I'd get a Z97 board instead of an H97 board. H97 board doesn't overclock properly.

Get an XFX 550w. Much higher quality for the same price. I picked a 520w Seasonic that's fully modular seeing as it's much nicer in a small case for cable management.

A bit over, but much better for overclocking and a higher quality PSU.

Build looks good so far (except the storage, maybe get a 1tb hybrid drive or something cause 120 is not enough when some games are going like 30-60gb+).

Another option would be to get something second-hand, look for a good deal and get some nice bang for your buck.

Please don't critisize me but an Alienware x51 might be a good idea to get second-hand (actually reasonable prices) and to put a cooling-mod for the CPU such as bigger fans, bigger intakes, bigger heatsinks, water-cooling (search it up, heaps of them around the place), Alienware x51s would be nice and small for lan parties if you can fix their cooling problem.

EDIT: If you do buy an x51 please buy it second-hand where their price actually makes sense.

Thanks, bai!
