No... A 7970 is neck to neck with the 770.

If you're talking about crossfire, 2 7950's is like a 780.

2 7970's is more powerful than a 780.

 

I'm not talking about a stock 780 btw. You should always be overclocking your gpus as much as you can.

I haven't been able to oc my 6870 because the core voltage is locked on it, buit I did have my gt 520 before oc'd.

Well, be glad you're getting a 7970.

Both the 7970/7950 are great overclockers.

On the bottom of the pcpartpicker it says PNY 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory operating voltage of 1.65V exceeds the Intel Haswell CPU recommended

Also still need help on this, it confuses me.
