hey guys, this is my first real build from scratch, and i wanted to double check.

i want to do a light overclocking on the processer, and maybe i will be adding a 212 cooler for it.

I think that you will be better off with i3 and cheap H81 board, you can't OC but it will perform better than overclocked pentium. Don't get that SSD, it is pretty much the worst one you can get. If you don't already get HDD get that instead. Also if budget allows it don't get GPU with blower cooler.

Also check if you can't get 500W-ish XFX PSU, the one you picked isn't terrible but not great wither.

id avoid the blower style 960 (go for aftermarket for silence and overclocking and try for a i5 4440 (with cheaper motherboard) or something similar.  that ssd brand is pretty slow

Go for a H97 Board i5 4460 (or 4160 if budget doesn;'t allow) 1TB caviar blue, Much better supply (Something like a S12ii or XFX 550W), and maybe an R9 280/285/380.

1. You dont need a z97 mobo to oc the pentium. You could get a h81 and save some money

2. CX psu sux, get evga/seasonic/antec/superflower

3. SSD is old, get a sandisk plus, or fury or bx100

4. Get a R9 280 or 380 for the same money, it would be a better choice for the money
