Chrome "sticking" when switching application

Dont know whats causing this.

When I have chrome snapped to the side of my screen and I switch to a bordered game, sometimes (1/5) times chrome will "freeze" its not crashed, but nothing will respond on chrome.  If I move or re-size the window it will "unfreeze" and jump to w/e I clicked on or did like its catching up.

 

Any ideas?

Bump again as its on 2nd page now.

Someone has to have an answer to this surely?

I've re-installed chrome, deleted all extensions, still keeps happening.

The entire browser "freezes" until I move the window every time I switch to windowed game.
