Hey all, I got two identical ancient WD360 Raptor 36GB and I was wondering if I were to drop them in my system and do a RAID0 on them for a 72GB drive, will it affect my single AHCI drives? I currently have a SSD + HDD1 + HDD2 all on AHCI. I know putting 36GB drives in my system is a waste of space but they'll hold my stuff till I get a 1TB drive.

It won't affect the other drives, setting to RAID just enables the Intel RAID controller on that motherboard, you'll get an extra step in POST that gives you an option to configure RAID (CTRL + I to get into RAID Config).

AHCI is a part of RAID so you won't see any difference there.
