Multiply that number by two due to it being DDR (data double rate).

Yes, it is. DDR memory performs 2 operations per cycle, so operating at 800MHz is 1600 effective MHz. That is why it is advertised as DDR3 1600, not 1600MHz.

maybe its chilling at 802 but it says in top right 2000 (max)

So it just idle at 800 but once i do more things like games it will boost itself?
