Hi there. So yesterday I was upgrading my sisters PC.

I upgraded the PSU, GPU and the case, nothing more. but after starting it up, I ran in to a problem.

The monitor was not recognizing any input.

I then made sure everything was connected properly and it was. Alltough when i tried putting back

her old GPU it loaded up fine and the monitor was displaying what it should be.

I immediately thought that there was a problem with the new GPU, but I'm not sure.

some background information:

I was updating from an NVIDIA cars to an AMD card.

I don't have that much experience with building PC's but i have built my own PC and it works just fine

I haven't uninstalled the NVIDIA drives as one of my friends told me it wasn't necessary

I hope someone will be able to help me.

uninstall the fucking NVIDIA drivers, how dumb can your friend be that he tells you not to uninstall them ffs! Now take out the GPU, connect the monitor to the iGPU/motherboard, go to windows programs and uninstall the drivers, then put the GPU back in the PC and connect the monitor to it and download the GPU's necessary drivers from the manufacturers website!
