Hey Linus community, I have just tried to install windows 10 and I got to the part were my pc has to restart a couple of times. Once I realised it was going to be a while, I went and did something else, but when I came back I was welcomed by a black screen. What should I do, turn off the pc or is something eventually going to happen?

How long has it been on the black screen?

If it doesn't boot you may have to redo the process.Maybe you got an error and the install didn't complete

Maybe it went to sleep?

I turn my pc back on and it's a black screen

How do I redo the process when I can't get to windows?

You don't have to.Just reformat the drive and reinstall it what you had before and upgrade again...i guess

You could try safe mode but i doubt is working since is not booting

You could try running the installer again and use the repair options.

  

Have you tried restarting the computer?

  

If it doesn't boot you may have to redo the process.Maybe you got an error and the install didn't complete

Thanks for your help guys but I restarted my pc about 5 times and it worked :D
