Louder =/= better.

You need to be careful in the audio world, because a lot of it is affected by the placebo effect, and there's a bunch of snake oil.

What was this "difference" you heard?

The stars died for you to be here today.

You can't enhance audio. Software like that uses effects and compression, all of which actually degrades the signal. It's fine if you like what it does, but if you're looking for hifi avoid it.

i can totally hear a difference when i turn it on and off, it's easy to turn on and off the software. now the difference that i hear is in clarity. this bad headset that i'm using sounds like an open headphone, as if the sound isn't coming from inside my head rather from the room. and etc etc.

please try it, i want to hear your real opinion after you hear the difference. you can just pirate it a few second and uninstall it again, or just use the free version.

It may add a different equalization, but that's all it can do.

that intrigued me into another question, from what you say i can deduct that without this software we should be able to equalize our sound however we want, so how can i do that? because i really want to fine tune my sound.

There should be an audio manager in windows control panel.

it doesn't show anything i can equalize. very barebone.

You sure you have an audio manager that came with your audio drivers?, like Realtek's HD Audio Manager thingie.
