Eyefinity setup help?

Go to solution Solved by W-L,

Woh thanks for the quick reply! I'm about to order an R9 390. That works with an HDMI and two DVI and Eyefinity enabled, yes?

Yep that should work the new cards shouldn't require mandatory use of use display port or any adapters.

I'm wondering about the graphics card side of an Eyefinity setup and how that works. In in the process of setting up a 5760x1080 Eyefinity setup, and I've heard that I need at least one of the three monitors hooked up via DisplayPort for Eyefinity to work. Is this true?

Also, if any of you have experience with Eyefinity and have any useful tips that might help me out, let me know :P

Sorry if this is the wrong section, I'm new to the forums here. Just point me in the right direction and I'll repost.

Welcome to the Forums!

It depends on what card you have the new R9 series cards do not require active displayport adapters to have a 3 screen setup.
