Looking into things for an entry level build, preferably 1080p graphics. Looking to get around 60 to 90 fps or higher.
Mainly, I'm having trouble finding a decently priced graphics card, that will suit the build well. I planned on going with an MSI R9 390, but with current reviews and not much for driver support I think I'd rather go something safer until the next super card comes out. Anyway, this is my current build excluding the graphics card, if you guys have ideas for decently priced cards that will run most AAA games at 60+ fps, let me know.

Also, I don't know of a decently priced Monitor that supports 1080p gaming or higher. So input on that would be helpful as well.
Thanks for reading.

- Get H60 at least. but I recommend Cooler Master EVO 212 over AIO watercooler...

- Avoid CX PSU. I'd go with EVGA 600B

- 15$ optical drive CD/DVD x24 is enough, you only need it to boot windows.

- Try to get a 24 inches monitor its the standard for 1080p

Most 1080p monitors I see are 21-22inches, they have better pixel density anyways

<SNIP>

AFAIK you don't need to buy thermal paste anymore since the cooler will have it already.

The case you chose already has a PSU, you could probably get a better one with the same price.

Do you really need 16 gb of ram?

As for OS you could by it of reddit, Microsoft software swap, for 10 USD

ohh and get an SSD

Processor : i7-6700k (stock speed)

Cooler : Hyper 212X

Motherboard: MSI Krait Gaming Z170

RAM : 4x4gb LPX Memory

Boot Device : Samsung 860 EVO

GPU : ZOTAC 1070 Extreme

PSU :Antec HCG-620M

Haven't heard of Software Swap on Reddit, so I'll have to check that out. I'll probably end up going 24 inch monitor. The bigger the better right? lol. So Evo 212 is getting thrown on there as opposed to the water cooling corsair.

Now, with a graphics card. A 290x was an option for me watching benchmarks and things like that, but it's only because I'm not entirely familiar with Nvidia, because I've been an AMD guy for the past 5 years.

Overclocking is a hobby. Not a necessity for a decent gaming system.

2x4GB of memory is quite sufficient for gaming.

IMO an ssd is a must.

I suggest a case that will complement the interior color scheme.

A better psu.

Windows 8.1. Simply because it is newer.

A slightly larger monitor.

gaming on 21 inches is a joke. you feel like you're on a tablet its so tiny. 24 inches at 1080p is the standard @ 92 PPI

I don't think it's tiny :/ it's a 3 inch difference. Everything has to be these days huh? People need a phone that won't even fit in their pocket and a 24 inch monitor. What the hell is the point of everything being bigger? I can see everything fine on my 1080p 21 inch monitor, and it looks beautiful

What a waste of money you have there.

Heres a build thats cheaper, same performance and KILOMETERS better gaming enjoyment because of a working freesync loop on a widescreen 75hz IPS monitor:
