Windows 10 apps don't work. HELP!

Today I was able to upgrade to windows 10, everything was mostly fine and smooth, but in Microsoft apps, my mouse doesn't work. It only affects apps that have been introduced windows 8+, like store, settings, etc. (works fine in control panel) I can navigate through some apps with my keyboard, but that can only take me so far. Any ideas? Also the mouse doesn't work when I go to the windows menu(forgot the real name of it, was removed in win 8, reintroduced in 10)

P.S.- Ctrl alt del also doesn't work

Also attempted to call Microsoft, hung up after being on hold for 2 and a half hours
