Well Microsoft suprised me. Windows 10 is really a milestone in the company'S history. I have never seen such a failure in my whole life. From the moment it started, I noticed some lag. My FPS in GTA 5 went from 50( Windows 8.1) to around 2. It needs A LOT of improvement but from this point, it can only get better. Windows 10: The Failure of the Decade. Whit All the hype around it:people need to calm down and Don't take the risk until all programs have been solved.

Apart from having to re-download all my drivers and uninstall some apps, It's going pretty well for me as well.

Can't wait till I upgrade my PC to start taking advantage of DirectX12, although I do realize there aren't many games (if any) that utilize it right now.

I might have drivers that don't work so a waiting game for me it is. Besides I think Windows 7 is really pretty and I don't want to get rid of it xD

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Windows 7 works flawlessly for me so until I can be guaranteed that it will work then I will be sitting here with my pretty OS :)

I upgraded both my desktop, and my laptop.

I know about 100 other people that have upgraded. None of them had issues.

I still can't see how someone had any issues, unless they Windows 7/8 install was almost broken already.

I think that was one problem.

Doing a clean install now

Yeah the main issue is, an old Windows 7/8 installation can have a TON of conflicting files and garbage files laying around.

Maybe your Windows installation was doing alright, but when you upgrade, it causes some issues and something nasty can happen.

So, unless you know your Windows installation is pretty clean - you haven't downloaded a TON of random programs all over the place, that might not be compatible - maybe a full format would make the installation better. A clean install will NOT have issues. Unless the issues itself include drivers for your hardware.
