Windows.old Folder After Installing Windows 10

Hello everyone!

I noticed that after installing Windows 10, there is a folder in the "C" drive called "Windows.old", and it's taking up 20gb. I know that this is probably the restore point for Windows 8.1 if I choose to revert back. But what i'm wondering is, can I move it to my hard drive?

Win 10 has is it protected as all hell, I know it can be deleted with System Cleanup but when I tried to do anything with it manually it gave me the finger.

Run "Disk Cleanup" as Administrator. That will delete the folder. There's not really much need to keep it around. You could try moving it but idk if you even can.

Or turn off the annoying UAC and just run Disk Cleanup.

You can move it but make sure to put it back if you ever need it
