Second, healthcare is a service that people want and are willing to pay for.

Which is the better solution:

 

1. private service in the context of competition, which makes it cheaper and of higher quality for the whole society

 

or

 

2. monopolized government service with huge bureaucratic overhead, inefficiency and corruption?

 

Without the banditry of taxation everyone would be able to afford a higher quality healthcare.

Can't watch the entire thing but I did watch the beginning and they're complaining about getting a fine for insulting the police. A far cry from us in Mexico where insulting the police can very well get you killed since the police force is usually and consistently under the Cartel's control and there's close to 0 accountability in many parts of the country.

 

So yeah I don't usually say this but most of you Canadians (except from some Natives who are legitimately persecuted) really have it easy.

Both my Brother and Dad have to pay an extra $4000 a year in taxes for health care because they make over a certain amount of money a year. So I wouldn't exactly call it free, at least not for everyone.

I have never understood this argument. 

 

It seems analogous to me saying that Zimbabwe has almost zero healthcare network (I have no idea if this is true, I just picked an African country), so because they have it worse than Americans, we Americans should not bother to fix our healthcare system.

 

I get that life is tougher in different countries, but that should not stop anyone from trying to improve their situation.

yes thats absmall price to pay for making sure no one is turned down an essential service like in the states where they will kuck people out with IV needles still in them just because they are poor and if he needs something major thats costs millions he is still only paying that much.
