Okay so from a performance and money stand point what's better to do? Use a single large moniter or multiple smaller ones? I like having the large display but don't know which is the best way to achieve that by? My gpu is a 980ti and I'm looking to get something that's not 4k as even a single 980ti can't run 4k as good as id like. Currently I can fit a 40inch led tv on my desk but just barely. Id like something that will kinda showoff the power of the 980ti but not have it effect framerate to much.

If money isn't a problem, go for the wider monitor and avoid bezels. If money is a problem, go for two or three monitors.

Never go with 3 monitors for gaming... its a very expensive disappointment.

Get one of the following:

350$ LG 29um67 - 29inch, IPS, 2560x1080, 75hz, freesync
550$ LG 34um67 - 34inch, IPS, 2560x1080, 75hz, freesync
1100$ Acer z35 - 35inch, VA, 2560x1080, 144hz, gsync

1300$ Asus pg34q - 34inch, IPS, 3440x1440, 75hz, gsync
1100$ Acer xr341ck - 34inch, IPS, 3440x1440, 75hz, freesync
1300$ Acer xr341cka - 34inch, IPS, 3440x1440, 100hz, gsync

Obviously if you get this last one you are set for the next 9 years or so. And since you can afford a 980ti,...
