Just a question for people who have seen the conjuring and horror fans in general: Why do you keep on watching movies like the conjuring, when from the Plot and setting standpoint they are almost exactly the same as any other "Haunted House" movie?

I am not a hater, I am just curious.

Also, how good is the conjuring? I have heard people saying that it is the best horror movie of all time.

Cool song of the day: Chief Keef - Round da Rosey    Changed my profile pic again...                                        Mountain Dew is good. So are video games and music. Oh and unicorns.

Well I find it's sort of a medium which you can enjoy it with your friends. Without them, its pointless to see. Kind of like how going on rollercoasters is only fun with friends.

Mountain Dew is not just good. Mountain Dew is the best. Unfortunately you can only get 400ml cans of the normal one where I live (UK), and that's all...

Haha man I agree with you with everything <3 In Austria I can almost never find any, but when my mom manages to get some and brings them home I get sooo happy :P

btw we are getting a tiny bit off topic lmao

Ah yes, I might just go out now and get a few cans, it's too good <3

Yeah maybe that was a little off topic -

I don't really like horror films because as you said they're all the same, the last "horror" film I saw was The Purge if you can call that a horror film and while it had a good moment or two I could not help but think that it would be 1000 times better as a thriller and not a horror, where they do more with the idea of The Purge and less of the same old boring classical home invasion... It's the same with a lot of horror films for me, where I'm much more interested in the background story and the idea behind it than the blood on the walls.

Tbh the only genres of movies I really like are action (The expendables 2, Pacific RIm, 2012...) comedy (Ted, Men In Black, ...) and as I like to call them "mindfuck" movies (like inception) :P

Inception was amazing, if you liked that, watch Source Code, or Deja Vu. Both are great, Source Code is better in my opinion.
