Hey guys it's me again.

I need some help choosing parts for a cheap Gaming PC / Full 1080p HD Film destroying PC I'm wanting to build.

The budget is £600-700 GBP which is around 900-1100 USD/CAD.

As for the CPU I 100% Want an: Intel Core i5 3330 CPU (With a cheap aftermarket cooler) And I did originally want a GTX 660Ti because of all the advice I was given on other Forums, but I'm pretty sure for the games I play and the ability to watch 1080p Films and videos I don't need such an expensive GPU like the 660Ti, right? And don't get me wrong the guy who gave me advice does know what he's talking about, but for some reason he despised AMD GPU's in every way, saying all their cards have terrible architecture etc. And I may not know much about Computers and Tech in general, but I highly doubt that Radeon GPU's are terrible. So I'm here seeking advice from people who are realistic. I don't play many games and to be honest I'm more of a Film fan than Gamer, I only really play the FPS game Soldier Front, and sometimes a few MMORPG Games. The PC will never have to be able to handle games such as Call of Duty and Battlefield etc, I play all those on Xbox 360 And will never switch.

So please let me know what you guys think and I'll definitely reward you, probably with positive mind thoughts hehe.

Thanks guys.

Edit: I won't be overclocking and will never really want to seeing as in my mind it's too much hassle, so no real reason for overclocked parts.

For the price range of the 660Ti is it a great price to performance ratio, if you increase your budget you can get a 7950, which is better, but that's a pretty big budget increase.

This is a little overbudget, but would be much better than looking into a 660Ti, of course with this build you can just drop down to a 7950.

I'm not trying to be rude, so please don't take it as offensive, but did you even read my Thread :c?

If anything the budget will be decreased, not increased. £700 Is the pinnacle seeing as I still need peripherals and such. The 7950 Is near enough the exact same price as the 660Ti, ranging from £210-250. I'm looking at standard 2GB 660's and 7850/7870's, but before I make any purchases I'm hopefully going to get some other suggestions on parts.

You wont need an aftermarket cooler for the CPU as it comes with a stock one that is designed to keep the CPU happy however I can understand reasoning like noise or aesthetics for an upgrade.

I'd look at the following:

Asus P8H77-M board

2 x 4GB of 1600mhz - I suggest Corsair Vengeance

Basic Corsair 550w PSU

MSI 7870

For storage you could probably just go with a 120GB SSD such as an Intel 330 or Sandisk Extreme otherwise Just a Seagate Barracuda 1TB should do. The case is completely up to you as it's 90% aesthetics.

There's a lot I don't necessarily need haha, but yeah, I draw the short straw when it came to picking bedrooms when my Family and I moved into our new house (It's pretty much ancient but new to us) so I have the small box room which is next to theirs, and even if I breathe they can pretty much hear it, so noise is quite a big issue. Since I often leave my computer on now when I shouldn't, I probably won't start turning it off when I get this new one, could you recommend any good reasonably priced 120/140mm Case Fans and a good reasonably CPU Cooler? As for cases, I'm going to go with the Corsair Carbide 200r Case. As for the SSD, I'll be loading the OS and a few Games/big Films on there, and also so my PC can remain Fast boot-up Times. I'll go with the Intel 330 Series 120GB as it's around £15 Cheaper than the Corsair Force GT one, thanks.

I was also already going to go with the Corsair Memory Vengeance 8GB RAM which I guess I should of mentioned, my apologies.

212 Evo from CM is my personal budget cooler pick.
