So recently my msi 970 mobo gave out and I just purchased the asrock fatal1ty 990fx killer to replace it. I plugged it all in and the computer turns on and the fans work but the usb hub doesn't work on the front or back of the computer, the disk drive won't open to install programs and the displays won't come on. I read I may need to reformat my hard drive but I can't do that without getting into the bios. the only thing new is the mobo itself. old hard drive, gpu, cpu, power supply and disk drive.

If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

When you change your motherboard you need to reinstall everything, thats why you computer isn´t booting, and for reinstalling everything you`ll need your disk drive or at least your usbs working, check again if you put every cable in you motherboard and if they are well connected. In the case now they are now working you should get a disc of windows or put it in a usb if you put them your bios will let you uninstall everything and install your windows again. Please let me know if something work and if not also let me know, I`ll try to help you.
