Montior to Graphics Card

P90x

I have a Dell U2711 and a build consisting of 2 GTX980s in SLI. The card is presently connected to the monitor via DVI. Is this the best option as far as performance, visual acuity and close to 4K gaming or should I use HDMI? BTW, what is Displayport which is another option on this monitor?

Since your monitor is 2560 by 1440, it really doesn't matter what connector you use, as DVI supports up to 2560 by 1600 60 Hz, but if you were to use a 4k monitor, I would recommend DisplayPort.
