Is this a good build ^-^

Go to solution Solved by PineappleHolidays,

Ok last question ^-^ Should I just buy one more normal fan, so the airflow would be better or nah?

The money would be better invested elsewhere

So thinking about building a gaming pc, and I was just wondering if this was a good build ^-^

Either get a CPU that's able to overclock, or downgrade to a H97 motherboard. If you do end up switching to a 'K' CPU, you might want to get a nice CPU cooler.

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600X            | Cooler: Deepcool AK400  | Motherboard: B550 Elite AX V2  | Storage: Samsung 980 Pro 1TB  |

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB   | GPU: MSI RTX 3060 Ti    | Case: NZXT H440 (Red/Black)    | PSU: EVGA 650W G2             |

Looks good, although I would not get Windows 10 through retail. You can get it for cheaper from /r/microsoftsoftwareswap.

You should also get an H97 mobo, as your CPU is non-K.

Blue Jay

CPU: Intel Core i7 6700k (OC'd 4.4GHz) Cooler: CM Hyper 212 Evo Mobo: MSI Z170A Gaming Pro Carbon GPU: EVGA GTX 950 SSC RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (1x8GB) SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250 GB HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB Case: NZXT S340 Black/Blue PSU: Corsair CX430M

Other Stuff

Monitor: Acer H236HL BID Mouse: Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum Keyboard: I don't even know Mouse Pad: SteelSeries QcK Headset: Turtle Beach X12

Ok still need some help :) Still thanks for the quick response everbody

Whats a seasonic psu? You mean cpu?

swap that CPU out with a 4690K, otherwise the Z97 board is useless.

personal preference, but the EVGA SC 970 or the Gigabyte G1 970 would be a better choice.

Get a 240mm AIO for a cooler (CM Nepton 240m)

Get a different case that supports top mounted 240mm coolers (graphite 230T corsair would to fine)

Personal preference again, but HyperX Fury memory always looks good

I can understand this one ^-^

-Don't pay that much for windows

-I would swap the 970 for a R9 390

You're also buying a Z board with a non K CPU

Thanks also :)

doesn't OP need an OS otherwise they wouldn't list it in original build?

Nothing to see here, move along

I would get an air cooler ( unless you are going to invest in a dual 120mm water cooler )

Recommend what is best, not what you preffer.

No cooler for the cpu? Or is the included one good enough ^-^

no cooler at that price as you can add one later or if you can pop your budget go for this:

http://pcpartpicker.com/part/nzxt-cpu-cooler-rlkrx6101

so then your build would be this and this would be amazing:

Difffence between a air cooler and water ^-^ Should I just use the included one

You will get better thermals and noise with an aftermarket one

-Keeps with color scheme ( except gpu )
-good cpu cooler

You can cut down on the price by getting the cheaper R9 390 ( 15$ less ) and getting a cheaper mobo / cpu cooler

Recommend what is best, not what you preffer.
