So here is the deal with this build, its actually an old netbook that I scavenged out of a dumpster, replaced a couple parts to get it working again, and now I have it hooked up via VGA to my telly. Since the keyboard on it was destroyed, I just tossed it months ago. I just now in the last month got around to resurrecting it, tossed a usb key on it with a copy of XBMCBuntu to get it up and running in live mode. Video outputs, HD works, powers up and gets into live mode.....NO KEYBOARD!!!!

My issue is that I need to figure out a way to get a USB keyboard working on this thing for at least one boot up so I can install the OS, configure the interfaces, and install SSH.

Any ideas, I'm at my wits end, my only thought left is to take the HD and toss it on my DT to install the OS and configure it and then put it back into the notebook where I can remote into it and do everything I need to do with it. I'll Use XBMC's android remote with it so I shouldn't need a keyboard again after this.

No, thats why I said I need to find a way to get a USB keyboard working with it. I've tried several keyboards with several different adapters and nothing is working, even at boot I cant get into bios using any keyboard
